City of Olney issued the following announcement on Dec. 19.
The City of Olney would like to remind citizens that the Olney City Hall will be closed Monday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 25 for the Christmas holiday.
The Brush Dump will also be closed on Monday, December 24, but will be open on regular schedule from there on out.
Republic Services will also observe the Christmas holiday. Trash collections on and after Tuesday, December 25 will fall one day behind schedule. For example, Tuesday's regular trash pick up will be taken on Wednesday, and the sequence will follow for the rest of the week into Saturday.
As a reminder, the curbside recycling will be suspended as of December 21. Alternate solutions are being sought.
