City of Effingham issued the following announcement on Dec. 10.
December 10 marks the first day to submit signed nominating petitions for the April 2, 2019 election for Mayor and City Commissioners. The City Clerk’s Office, located at City Hall, 201 E. Jefferson Avenue, is open this week at 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., December 10 through December 17, 2018, to accept petitions.
