Q2 real estate sales report: Palestine

Median prices rose in Palestine over last year, and are up 83.4 percent over 10 years, adjusted for inflation, according to second quarter sales data collected by BlockShopper.com.

From April to June, 4 homes sold in Palestine for a median price of $44,000. That's 3.9 percent higher than median home sale prices for the second quarter of 2017.

In the second quarter, there were no foreclosures in Palestine.

Median property tax for homeowners in Palestine was $910.44 in 2016 according to tax data from that year. That means homeowners pay 2 percent of their home's value in taxes.
