Shelby County turns down Fire Protection Proposition

Shelby County says "no" to Cowden Fire Protection Proposition on the Nov. 6 ballot.

The Cowden Fire Protection Proposition, an Increase Tax Extension Limitation measure was voted down.

With 100 percent of the votes counted, 273 were in favor and 314 against.
