City of Newton issued the following announcement on Nov. 8.
The Jasper County Holly Jolly Dash is back!!
Registration for the walk/run will start at 7:45am with the race beginning at 8:30am. We will follow the same route as the PTO Color Run. The finish line will be at the Square where you can walk over to the Mistletoe Market and enjoy goodies and crafts. The Ice Rink will open at 9am.
