City of Olney issued the following announcement on Nov. 5.
The City of Olney's leaf collection program is scheduled to begin the week of November 12th. The leaf pick up machines will drive through the City beginning at that time to collect loose leaf piles. Citizens are requested to place their leaves as close to the roadway as possible. Please do not place loose leaves in ditches or in the roadway.
If bagging leaves, citizens may place them near the roadway and notify City Hall if they are ready for pick up.
The Brush Dump will still be open to the public for drop off of all landscape waste. The hours of the Brush Dump are Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m
