City of Casey Police Department issued the following announcement on Nov. 9.
Last evening at the Clark County Police Association meeting, Officer Johnathon Schuette, Deputy Jeremiah Hanley, and Officer Cody Lee were awarded Life Saver Certificates for their actions responding to a call involving an unresponsive male who had stopped breathing. All three Officers took turns performing CPR until EMS was able to transport the patient to the hospital. After care at the hospital the patient survived. If it was not for the heroic and valiant efforts of these officer's the outcome could have been tragic.
On behalf of the Casey Police Department and the Community of Casey, we would like to thank these Officer's and all of our Clark County Police in continuously responding to high-stress calls like this one and keeping our community safe.
