City of Effingham issued the following announcement on Oct. 18.
The weekend is fast approaching! Please be respectful of neighbors, use caution and be safe during this leaf burning season!
It is lawful to burn leaves on Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays only in the City of Effingham.
