School discipline: Which East Central Illinois districts reported the most drugs-related suspensions?

Jasper County Community Unit School District 1, Mattoon Community Unit School District 2 and Casey Westfield Community Unit School District 4c reported the highest rate of students suspended for reasons related to drug offenses during the 2016-17 school year in East Central Illinois, according to the latest report from the Illinois State Board of Education.

In this analysis, the incident rate is calculated by dividing the number of incidents by district enrollment.
