Neoga Community Unit School District 3 issued the following announcement on Sept. 7.
The Neoga School District will be hosting a community meeting to help the Board of Education identify district wide goals regarding what the district should accomplish as we look forward to the future. Members of the community are invited to attend to provide input. Please plan to attend this event, which has been scheduled for Wednesday, September 19 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the jr.-sr. high school library. It will be designed to provide participants with an opportunity for discussion in an informal, relaxed setting. Patrick Rice from the Illinois Association of School Boards will facilitate the meeting. Please be prepared to share your thoughts with other participants and to participate in large and small group discussion on:
- Values and beliefs about education in our community
- The district’s mission
- The district’s vision for the future
- Key areas for district goals
