Carle Richland Memorial Hospital issued the following announcement on Aug. 29.
The Carle Richland Memorial Hospital (CRMH) Board of Trustees approved administrative changes to lead the local hospital, support the health system, and most importantly, to serve patients and the community.
Experienced healthcare leader Harry Brockus will expand his role by serving as Carle’s system vice president for regional health and CEO of Carle Richland Memorial Hospital. Brockus has been interim CEO since May. Since that time, Brockus has been effective in developing relationships throughout the CRMH eight county service area, with a vision to bring better access to care and services for all communities throughout the region.
Brockus is a strong advocate for local healthcare and serving patients and the community. He is active within the Illinois Hospital Association, Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network and the American Hospital Association. He is considered a state and national expert on Rural Health Transformation through Collaboration, having recently serving as a speaker for the 2018 American Hospital Association National Rural Health Conference. Harry has volunteered extensively and served on many community boards. He and his family will relocate to Olney.
