CITY OF OLNEY: 2019 Election Paperwork Now Available

City of Olney issued the following announcement on Aug. 28.

Kelsie Sterchi, City Clerk of the City of Olney, has announced that the necessary nomination papers for the offices of two Council members for the 2019 Municipal Election are now available in the Office of the City Clerk, 300 S. Whittle Ave., Olney, IL. Candidates may file nomination petitions during regular business hours from November 19, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. through November 26, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. at the front counter in the Office of the City Clerk.

Should a simultaneous lottery be necessary, the lottery will be scheduled for Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at 8:30 a.m.

The election to be held in 2019 will be fore two Council positions. The Consolidated Primary Election, if necessary, will be held on February 26, 2019. The Consolidated Election will be hled on April 2, 2019.
