Red Hill Community Unit School District 10 students suspended 5 times in a single school year

Red Hill Community Unit School District 10 reported five suspensions for 2016-17, according to the latest student discipline report by the Illinois State Board of Education.

According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 5 students during the year. That equates to 0.5 percent of the 1,002 students enrolled.

The district reported that most out-of-school suspensions were given for violence that caused physical injury. The category includes two incidents. There were one incidents of drugs. For two incidents, students were suspended for a day or less.
