Hutsonville Cusd #1 students suspended, expelled 10 times in a single school year

Hutsonville Cusd #1 reported one expulsions and nine suspensions for 2016-17, according to the latest student discipline report by the Illinois State Board of Education.

According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 10 students during the year. That equates to 2.9 percent of the 341 students enrolled.

Students were expelled for one incident with unspecified reasons.

The district reported that most in-school suspensions were given for unspecified reasons. The category includes seven incidents. There were one incidents of violence without physical injury. For four incidents, students were suspended for a day or less.

The district reported that most out-of-school suspensions were given for unspecified reasons. The category includes one incidents. For one incidents, students were suspended for 5-10 days.
