Teutopolis Community Unit School District 50 students suspended 7 times in a single school year

Teutopolis Community Unit School District 50 reported seven suspensions for 2016-17, according to the latest student discipline report by the Illinois State Board of Education.

According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 7 students during the year. That equates to 0.7 percent of the 1,060 students enrolled.

The district reported that most in-school suspensions were given for violence without physical injury. The category includes three incidents. There were two incidents of unspecified reasons. For five incidents, students were suspended for a day or less.

The district reported that most out-of-school suspensions were given for violence without physical injury. The category includes one incidents. For one incidents, students were suspended for 1-3 days.
