Running race results 3 form 600

HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital issued the following announcement on Aug. 10.

Community members wanting to get healthier have an opportunity to become a “superhero” for the day and join in the 2018 Superhero Race on Saturday, September 15, at the Richard E. Workman Sports & Wellness Complex. The race is being presented by HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital, whose Physical Rehabilitation and Wellness services are located in the Workman Sports Complex. All proceeds support the HSHS St. Anthony’s Foundation to benefit the hospital's various rehabilitation and wellness programs.

The cost for the 5K Walk/Run or the 10K Run will be $25 each. A new additional option this year is the Superhero Chipper Challenge. This event is a strength challenge as participants do specific timed movements at various reps. If you want to push yourself, you can participate in both the Chipper Challenge and the 5K Walk/Run, or the Chipper Challenge and the 10K Run, each for $40. Dri-fit long sleeve race shirts are back for those participating in the 5K/10K races, and the Superhero Chipper Challenge offers a men’s muscle tee or ladies tank top. The registration deadline to receive a shirt is August 20.

Racers can register ahead of time online at effinghamsuperhero.com or on the hospital’s web site at stanthonyshospital.org/events.
