HSHS ST. ANTHONY'S MEMORIAL HOSPITAL: Theresa Quinn named Director of Cardiovascular Service Line for Prairie Heart Institute

HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital issued the following announcement on July 23.

HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce that Theresa Quinn, RN, BS, was recently named the new Director of the Cardiovascular Service Line for Prairie Heart Institute at HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital.

In this role, Quinn will be responsible for St. Anthony’s Cardiovascular Services, Cath Lab, Cardiac Rehab, and the Prairie Clinic, to elevate integration of the hospital’s cardiac patient services. Quinn has a shared reporting role to HSHS, Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants, and Prairie Heart Institute of Illinois.

Quinn comes to St. Anthony’s from Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, where she served as the Director of Cardiac Services for seven years, managing six departments as well as two specialty practices. Other positions that have added to her expertise include roles as a clinical instructor, RN/exercise specialist, cardiac education specialist, and as a nurse on Critical Care and Medical/Surgical Units.

Quinn received her bachelor’s degree in community health from Eastern Illinois University and her nursing degree from Parkland College. She is also certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
