Teutopolis Community Unit School District 50 issued the following announcement on July 17.
After the TJHS Band played the National Anthem at the St. Louis Cardinal's game at Busch Stadium last Friday, band director Melissa Orndorff received this message via social media:
"Hello Mellissa,
My husband and I were at the Cards game on Friday night, arrived way early, and had the opportunity to hear your amazing Junior High School Band play the National Anthem. The best National Anthem we have ever heard at Busch Stadium. You must be very proud. what a very fine group of musicians you have! Tim & Kitty Daly / Webster Groves, Mo."
