Marshall City Council met July 9.

Here is the minutes provided by the Council:

The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., with Mayor John Trefz presiding. Upon roll call, all council members were present.

Strait made a motion, seconded by LeFever, to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as written. Upon roll call, all council members voted for. Motion carried.

Strait made a motion, seconded by Wallace, to approve the Agreement between the City of Marshall and the City of Marshall Police Department and the Marshall Community School District. Upon roll call, all council members voted for. Motion carried.

LeFever made a motion, seconded by Green, to adopt Resolution No. 2018-R-04, a Resolution for Maintenance of Streets & Highways by Municipality under the Illinois Highway Code. Upon roll call, all council members voted for. Motion carried.

LeFever made a motion, seconded by Green, to approve the Administration and Coordination Services Contract Agreement for the CDBG Housing Rehabilitation Program #17-243006. Upon roll call, all council members voted for. Motion carried.

Green made a motion, seconded by Strait, to approve Pay Application #1 to BHMG Service Corp. for Upgrade of the Existing SCADA to Wonderware in the amount of $50,746.34. Upon roll call, all council members voted for. Motion carried.

LeFever made a motion, seconded by Tharp, to approve a street closing request for Friday, August 3, 2018; 5-8pm for the Marshall Cross Country Team Pork Burger Drive-Thru. Upon roll call, all council members voted for. Motion carried.

Strait made a motion, seconded by LeFever, to pay the bills in the amount of $120,167.01. Upon roll call, all members voted for. Motion carried.

Strait made a motion, seconded by Tharp to adjourn. Upon roll call, all council members voted for except Hasten and Pearce. Hasten and Pearce voted against. Motion carried. Meeting
