Findlay Fire Protection District responded to 12 calls in 2017 - 9.1 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Findlay included 11 fires - four structure fires, three vehicle fires and four other fires.

In all, the department saw $413,500 in fire loss - or about $37,591 per fire.

The department also received one false call.

The Findlay Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $133,331 in 2017.
