Call to Order: 5:30 p.m.

1. Motion Wiley, seconded by Leib, to approve the Consent Agenda: Minutes of the April 16, 2018 meeting, minutes of the May 10, 2018 special meeting, Bills, Activity Account Statements, Treasurer’s Report, Approve the school resource officer agreement between Flora CUSD #35 and the city of Flora, Approve the lease agreement for use of the tennis courts between Flora CUSD #35 and the city of Flora. Roll call: Unanimous

RECOGNITION OF COMMENTS BY EMPLOYEES AND FROM THE PUBLIC

Recognition of staff retiring at the end of the school year. Paul Duquaine addressed the Board about transfer of students from non-public/home school policy.

NEW BOARD BUSINESS

1. Motion Leib, seconded by Cook, to approve and adopt on second reading revisions to Board policies as presented. Roll Call: Brooks,yes; Leib, yes; Porter, yes; McCoy, yes; Wiley, yes; Cook, yes; Souder, yes.

2. Motion Souder, seconded by Cook, to approve the materials and supplies bid for the building trades house. Roll Call: Wiley, yes; Cook, yes; Souder, yes; Brooks,yes; Leib, yes; Porter, yes; McCoy, yes.

3. Motion Wiley, seconded by Brooks, to adopt the memorandum of understanding between the SESE governing board and member districts. Roll Call: Brooks,yes; Leib, yes; Porter, yes; McCoy, yes; Wiley, yes; Cook, yes; Souder, yes.

4. Committee Reports: The athletic committee will meet on June 5th.

5. Administrator Reports:

Carder: Survivor Day 5/22, went to Charlie Brown Park for AR.

Leonard: Service Day #2 5/21, 5/22 walk to DQ/ Depot, and Trivia, movie on 5/23.

Johnson: Unit Office is about done.

Pearce: Exams finished 5/22, see exams/scores on 5/23, Graduation on 5/6.

McNeely: Hosting boys sectionals Wednesday/Saturday, girls won regionals and play in sectionals on Wednesday, Mason Beckham advancing to State in Tennis.

Hackney-The secretary day luncheon, FAF banquet, and high school graduation was highlighted. The end of the year luncheon for staff and presentation of service awards will be on May 23rd.

9. Motion Leib, seconded by Souder, to approve the resignation of Todd Countryman as assistant softball coach effective the end of the 2018 season. Roll Call:
