City of Mattoon issued the following announcement on June 5.
EVENT DATE: Jun 6 2018 - 7:00am to Jun 15 2018 - 4:00pm
Marshall Avenue will be closed at South 12th Street starting Wednesday morning, June 6, 2018.
City crews will be relocating a water main in advance of the upcoming roadway work on Marshall Avenue.
The road is scheduled to reopen on Friday, June 15.
The contractor for the roadway work expects to start shortly after July 4.
