Effingham Park District issued the following announcement on May 25.
Unfortunately, due to an underground water line break, we will not be able to open the Kluthe Pool Saturday, May 26th as planned.
We hope to have everything fixed and ready to open Friday, June 1st.
The Effingham Park District apologizes for any inconvenience and the staff is working hard to get this problem fixed.
