Stewardson-Strasburg Community Unit School District 5A recently issued the following announcement.
June 17 Cardinals VS Cubs and Hatchets VS Indians Game @ Busch Stadium – TIME CHANGE
We have been notified that ESPN has chosen the June 17th game to be televised so the starting time is now 7:05 p.m. This will move the Hatchets VS Indians game to 9:00 a.m.
We are sorry that it may now be challenging for some fans, the Cardinals organization apologizes as well and explained that it’s within the ESPN contract to change game time. Tickets sold are subject to time changes.
Perks for that day, it will be a Prairie Farms Ice Cream Sunday with free frozen treats available two hours prior to game time. Anyone without a ticket is still welcome to attend the Hatchets VS Indians game and everyone attending the 9:00 a.m. game will receive a Busch Stadium Amateur Game Ticket to commemorate the event.
