The regular meeting of the Beecher City Community Unit District No. 20 Board of Education was held May 14th, 2018 in the high school business room. Darren Doty, President of the Board, called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. with the following board members present: Darren Doty, Nancy Wolf, Lee Roadarmel, Ryan Schaefer, Jordan Shields, Shane Burks, and Craig Anderson. Scott Cameron, Unit Superintendent, Phil Lark, High School Principal, and Rosa Milleville, Grade School Principal were also in attendance.
A motion was made by Burks, and seconded by Schaefer, to enter into executive session at 7:04 p.m. for discussion of matters relating to evaluation, employment and/or dismissal of staff, as well as other matters appropriate for closed-session discussion. A motion to approve the hire of a new High School Boys Basketball Coach was tabled.
A motion was made by Schaefer, and seconded by Burks, to approve the FBLA trip to Baltimore for $3,928.80. Doty, yea; Wolf, yea; Burks, yea; Schaefer, yea; Shields, yea; Anderson, yea; Roadarmel, yea. Motion carried unanimously.
A motion was made by Shields, and seconded by Roadarmel, to authorize Mose, Yockey, Brown and Kull, LLC to perform the 2017-2018 Audits. Doty, yea; Roadarmel, yea; Wolf, yea; Schaefer, yea; Shields, yea; Burks, yea; Anderson, yea. Motion carried unanimously.

A motion was made by Wolf, and seconded by Roadarmel to approve the Teacher’s Collective Bargaining agreement for the 2018-2019, 2019-2020, and 2020-2021 school years. Doty, yea; Roadarmel, yea; Wolf, yea; Schaefer, yea; Shields, yea; Burks, yea; Anderson, yea. Motion carried unanimously.
