Report: Robinson spent $9,286 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Robinson Community Unit School District 2 is down 5 percent from five years ago, according to a East Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Crawford County school district spent $9,743 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $9,286 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1637 to 1590.

Robinson's spending in 2016-17 was 28 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
