Report: Hutsonville spent $10,002 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Hutsonville Cusd #1 is down 4 percent from five years ago, according to a East Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Crawford County school district spent $10,404 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $10,002 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 360 to 341.

Hutsonville's spending in 2016-17 was 23 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
