Carle Richland Memorial Hospital issued the following announcement on May 4.

The class of 2018 Physician Assistant students from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, who have completed 9 clinical rotations at the Olney Hubsite, recently chose Stephen Reid, M.D., General Surgeon, as their Preceptor of the Year.

Carle Richland Memorial Hospital is a Clinical Hubsite each year for students from the SIU Physician Assistant Program. Olney Clinical Hub Coordinator is Laura Woods, RN, Nurse Manager of Staff Development and Patient Education, and Dirk Rosenberg, M.D., serves as the Olney Hub Medical Director for this program.
