LAWRENCE COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Business Spotlight – Citizens National Bank of Albion

Bank

Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Citizens National Bank of Albion

The Bank of Lawrence County is now Citizens National Bank of Albion. A Grand Opening and ribbon cutting ceremony was held May 8th at each of the bank’s newest banking centers in Bridgeport and Lawrenceville.

Citizens National Bank of Albion is a locally owned community bank located in southern Illinois with headquarters in Albion and banking centers in Bridgeport, Crossville, Lawrenceville, Mt. Erie and Olney.

As their customer base has grown, so has their footprint in the local communities they serve. The bank provides a full portfolio of banking products from traditional checking accounts, savings accounts and personal, agricultural and commercial loans as well as the latest in trust services, mobile banking, debit cards and internet banking.

The bank provides premiere customer service and is competitive in all areas of banking, but since it is located in a primarily agricultural area, it takes great care in providing expertise to the agriculture customers it serves. Citizens National Bank of Albion has become the area’s most trusted name in banking and will celebrate 75 years of banking excellence in August of this year.

“We look forward to welcoming Lawrence County customers and employees to Citizens National Bank of Albion. We feel this acquisition will be mutually beneficial to all communities involved and our hope is to make this a seamless transition. Our core beliefs are very similar, and you’ll find that our focus is on personal service for our customers and communities.” said President and CEO Jan D. Ridgely of Citizens National Bank of Albion. Brad Miller, of the Bridgeport Banking Center said, “We are very excited to become a part of Citizens National Bank of Albion and feel our customers will benefit from an expanded financial service product line while enjoying the same excellent service and community focus they have always received.”
