Stewardson-Strasburg Community Unit School District 5A issued the following announcement on.
On Tuesday, August 18, Stew-Stras Grade School students assembled in the gym to kick off another super year of learning.
The students and staff have a superhero theme for the entire school year, and the assembly even featured a special appearance from the Hulk (Principal Mr. Deters).
Students were encouraged to display super hero characteristics: being kind to others, being respectful, and being super kids.
