City of Olney issued the following announcement on April 27.
The City of Olney would like to remind all citizens and business owners that Section 8.16.020 of the City of Olney Municipal Code states that it is unlawful for any person to place leaves, grass, garbage, refuse or other debris in any drainage ditch, opening to the storm sewer, or in any public street.
This includes blowing grass onto the streets while mowing.
Section 8.16.030 provides provisions for violators to be fined not less than $75.00 for each offense, nor more than $750 for each offense.
