Chris Miller vows to clean up the mess that is Springfield in a new video posted to Facebook touting his candidacy for state representative in the 110th District.
“I want to balance your budget," Miller says in the video. "I’m going to Springfield to fight against family dynasties like (House Speaker) Mike Madigan’s."
An Oakland Republican, Miller is running for the seat soon to be left vacant by the retirement of Rep. Reggie Phillips (R-Charleston).

Throughout his run, Miller has made the issues of fighting for lower taxes for established term limits major platforms of his campaign.
“Our message has been consistent all the way through," he previously told the East Central Reporter. "We are pro-family, pro-Second Amendment. We are term limits. We are firing Mike Madigan.”
The 110th House District includes Clark, Coles, Crawford, Cumberland, Edgar and Lawrence counties.
