Analysis: Robinson pays $4.37 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Robinson Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 81.4 percent of the $353,099 the Robinson Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $4.37 for every $1 from pension members, according to a East Central Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Robinson contributed $287,276 to the fund, which saw a $184,675 decrease in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $65,734, or 18.6 percent, in 2016. Another $89 came from other unspecified sources.
