Analysis: Paris pays $3.96 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Paris Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 79.9 percent of the $442,854 the Paris Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $3.96 for every $1 from pension members, according to a East Central Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Paris contributed $353,678 to the fund, which saw a $72,600 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $89,176, or 20.1 percent, in 2016.
