The Board of Education of Rooks Creek C.C.S.D. #425 held a regular board meeting on Monday, December 11, 2017, at the school. Board President Matt Dewald called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. Roll call: Matt Dewald, present; John Grampp, absent; Ryan Hansen, present; Kristen Hinz, absent; Steve Mattingly, present; Mona Zehr, present; Tricia Kilburn-Zehr, absent.
Superintendent Todd Bean was also present.
A motion was made by Steve Mattingly, seconded by Tricia Kilburn-Zehr to approve the amended agenda, by removing 9b&c. Voice vote. All ayes. 3 absent. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Ryan Hansen, seconded by Steve Mattingly to approve the November regular board minutes. Voice vote. All ayes. 3 absent. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Steve Mattingly, seconded by Ryan Hansen to approve the November Treasure’s Report. Roll call vote. All ayes. 3 absent. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Ryan Hansen, seconded by Steve Mattingly to approve the December payment of bills. Roll call vote. All ayes. 3 absent. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Ryan Hansen, seconded by Steve Mattingly to approve Press Issue 96 as presented. Roll call vote. All ayes. 3 absent. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Steve Mattingly, seconded by Ryan Hansen to approve the Bus Lease with Midwest Transit Equipment as presented for a 53 passenger and 32 passenger bus for a 5 year contract. Roll call vote. All ayes. 3 absent. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Ryan Hansen, seconded by Steve Mattingly to approve 5th – 8th grade field trip to the Children’s Hospital in Peoria. Roll call vote. All ayes. 3 absent. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Steve Mattingly, seconded by Ryan Hansen to adjourn at 7:27 p.m. Voice vote. All ayes. 3 absent. Motion carried.
