Villa Grove Fire Department responded to 14 calls in 2016, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System obtained by the East Central Reporter.

The calls in Villa Grove included 10 fires - six structure fires, one vehicle fire and three other fires.

In all, the department saw $85,050 in fire loss - or about $8,505 per fire.

The department also received four false calls.
