Call to Order: 6:15 p.m.

Recognition Of Comments By Employees And From The Public

1. Motion Cook, seconded by Leib, to approve the Abstracts of Votes cast at the April 4, 2017 election as presented. Roll Call: Brooks, yes; Cook, yes; Souder, yes; Wiley, yes: McCoy, yes; Leib, yes; Porter, yes.

2. Motion Brooks, seconded by McCoy, to declare the winners of the school board election on April 4, 2017 as follows: full-terms-. Leib, Porter, and Cook; 2-year terms: Becky Wiley and Ariane Souder. Roll Call: Cook, yes; Souder, yes; Wiley, yes; McCoy, yes; Leib, yes; Porter, yes; Brooks, yes.

President McCoy administered the oath of office to newly elected members of the Board of Education:

3. Motion Porter, seconded by Leib, to adjourn sine die at 6:21 p.m. All ayes. Motion carried.

McCoy was named to serve as president pro tem and Porter to serve as secretary pro tem.

Call to Order: 6:22 p.m.

1. President: Joe McCoy was nominated for the position of president. There were no other nominations. Joe McCoy was elected by acclamation and continued with the election of officers.

Vice President: Curtis Leib was nominated for the position of vice president. There were no other nominations. Curtis Leib was elected by acclamation.

Secretary: Rick Porter was nominated for the position of secretary. There were no additional nominations. Rick Porter was elected by acclamation.

2. Motion Leib, seconded by Brooks, to adopt the existing schedule of Board meeting dates and times through June of the 2016-2017 school year. All ayes. Motion carried.

3. Motion Cook, seconded by Wiley, to adopt all existing appointments, policies, rules, regulations, and contractual obligations of the previous Board of Education. Roll Call: Porter, yes; Brooks, yes; Cook, yes; Souder, yes; Wiley, yes; McCoy, yes; Leib, yes.

4. Motion Leib, seconded by Porter, to adjourn the meeting at (6:25 p.m.). All ayes. Motion carried.
