Our secretaries, Diana and Janel, did excellent work in preparing for registration. The registration process went very smoothly. Thank you to everyone that contributed to the success of registration.

Thank you Roz Gresens and the Town and Country Women's Club for organizing the annual Shoe Tree Project and distributing shoes and socks to many of our students. Your donations and efforts are greatly appreciated. There were a lot of smiling faces as the kids picked up their shoes.

The janitors are wrapping up the summer cleaning. Susan, Carol, and Emily have done an outstanding job. They completed the normal cleaning plus did extra deep cleaning, moved several classrooms to new locations, and cleaned the rafters in the entire building.

The drive and parking lots look great after being relined. We also added a fourth spot for parent pick-up/drop-off that will hopefully help speed up the process.

Nearly every teacher has been out working in his/her classroom in the last few weeks. Our district is blessed to have so many teachers that put in extra time getting ready for their students, and using their own resources to make it a great year for the students. Thank you teachers for your dedication and outstanding efforts!

Several classrooms were relocated this summer for better flow and to better utilize the different areas of the school. I would like to thank Wendell Kemper, George Hensley, Steve Wheeler, Susan Ingram, Carol Weiscope, Emily Ervin, and the teachers and staff members that were moved for being supportive and helping to get the huge task completed. The move is a great improvement for our school.
