The Tuscola Community Unit School District No. 301 board of education met March 21 to approve to pay $1,000 per student toward Parkland's tuition, but not to provide transportation.

The motion was carried unanimously.

The board of education also approved monthly bills; membership in IHSA and IESA for 2016-2017; registration fees for the 2016-2017 school year; the district calendar for 2015-2016; and the district's Perfect/Excellent Attendance Guidelines.

In addition, the board accepted the donation of $400 for Help a Child from the class of 1954 and $250 to FFA from the Tuscola Community Foundation.
