The board of education for Community Unit School District No. 1 met March 9 to accept a $4,482.28 donation from student and community supporters in support of Ashmore Elementary School.
The motion was passed on a 7-0 vote.
The board of education also approved the continuation of the service arrangement with Gilbert, Metzger and Madigan, Certified Public Accountants; the legal services of William Warmoth, attorney at law; the services of law firm Miller, Tracy, Braun, Funk & Miller, Ltd. and of Hodges, Loizzi, Eisenhammer, Rodick, & Kohn, Ltd.
