Arcola City Council gathers to approve 2017 budget

The Arcola City Council met April 18 to consider and approve the budget for fiscal year 2017.

The motion was carried unanimously.

The city council also approved the COLA raise for full and part-time employees; approved the March Zoning Officer’s report with valuation of $454,165 and $842.10 in fees collected; approved a donation in amount of $100 for Beth’s Place; and approved a donation in amount of $100 for Douglas County Relay for Life.
