The Marshall Public Library board of trustees met March 9 to approve a line-item amount of $129,000 for the fiscal year 2016-2017 budget appropriations.
The approval of the budget was passed with no objection.
The board of trustees also reviewed the financial report for February. It shows a balance of $262,927.82, including $125,538.55 in the building/tech fund and zero balance in the retirement fund; and approved payment of bills in the amount of $2,737.89 plus add-ons of $392 to the USPS and $60 to Jamie Poorman.
