The St. Joseph-Ogden High School District 305 education board will meet tonight to review spring events.
With mention of an April 9-10 musical at St. Joseph-Ogden High School, St. Joseph-Ogden CHSD 305’s agenda for 7 p.m. today, March 28, will also include personnel shifts, scout activities, scholarships and summer positions.
A musical performance is scheduled for 7 p.m. on April 9th and 2 p.m. on April 10th at the high school. Also to be announced is confirmation of the board's next regular meeting for 7 p.m. on April 25.
Following the board’s consent agenda of bills and minutes approval, budget and grant authorization, and personnel changes, board members will hear comments from visitors before moving on to action items.
Pending matters pertain to a conference merger proposal between the Okaw Valley and Corn Belt Conferences, discussion of the ACT test and a memorial tree. New business will concern building bonds, an Eagle Scout project, scholarships, auditing, grading scale discussion, board policy updates and summer jobs for maintenance and technology workers.
In addition, the district will conduct a conversation regarding the “SJO Friend of Education” award. A closed session may be called prior to adjournment.
Board members will meet in the boardroom of the Superintendent’s Office at the high school, which is found at 301 N. Main St., St. Joseph.
