The Robinson Community Unit School District No. 2 School Board will convene at 7 p.m. Monday, March 21, at the district office to square away dates for graduation, schedule recognition events and approve new hires.
Two new principals are expected to be approved for hire at this meeting—for Robinson High School and Lincoln Grade School. Other personnel changes will comprise updates on resignations, employments, reassignments and/or leaves of absence.
Graduation for Robinson High School will be confirmed for 7 p.m. May 28, with Nuttall Middle School’s eighth grade recognition night scheduled for 6 p.m. May 19.
Additionally, Superintendent Josh Quick will present administrator reports and discuss goals for overall school improvement in the district.
Time will be allotted for public comments for any citizens wishing to provide input regarding items not listed on the agenda, as well as remarks pertaining to the Illinois Education Association’s Robinson branch, or CUTEA.
Board members will also approve the district’s consent agenda for the month, consisting of minutes, financial and attendance reports, payroll and bills.
Meetings are held at Community Unit No. 2, located at 1301 N. Allen St. The Robinson CUSD No. 2 jurisdiction includes Robinson High School, Nuttall Middle School, Lincoln Grade School and Washington Elementary School.
