Village of Noble Personnel Committee met Oct. 2.
Here are the minutes provided by the committee:
Present: Cindy Manuel, Tresa Hundley, Janet Pflaum, Gary Ulm and Ashley Pipher The meeting was called to order at 5:05 pm.
Village Treasurer, Cindy Manuel, requested a meeting of the Personnel Committee to discuss the vacancy at the village due to the upcoming retirement of Tresa Hundley, Village Clerk.
Cindy informed the committee that she will take the position of Village Clerk but will continue with her current Treasurer duties as well.
The village will advertise for a part-time Secretary position for one day a week (alternating Mondays and Tuesdays) or as needed to cover when Cindy is gone. Salary will be based on experience with a scale of $15.00 to $25.00 an hour. A general job description was discussed but with the addition that other duties will be assigned by the board as necessary. The individual taking this position will sign off as Village Treasurer when necessary.
The ad will be placed with the Olney Gazette, Indeed.com and the VON water bills. Applications will be taken until November 14. The committee scheduled a meeting for November 17 at 5:15 pm to review the applications and will conduct interviews November 18 – 20.
The committee’s recommendations will be brought to the remaining members of the board at the October 14 meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:45 pm.
