Illinois State Representative Adam Niemerg, a Republican representing the 102nd House District, has recently posted a series of statements on social media addressing state fiscal policy, national media figures, and the legacy of a conservative activist.

On October 11, 2025, Niemerg criticized the state's fiscal direction, stating: "No BIG shock here….Illinois Democrats tax and spend policies will yield yet another tax increase. This year’s budget is 55 BILLION up 43% since Pritzker took office! Highest combined taxes in the country with second highest property taxes. All while @GovPritzker prioritized https://t.co/icmac7fgic". Niemerg's remarks focus on Illinois' budget growth and tax rates under Governor J.B. Pritzker's administration.

Two days later, on October 13, 2025, Niemerg commented on journalist George Stephanopoulos: "George Stephanopoulos is a left wing hack. Clinton’s press secretary trying act mainstream……what a joke https://t.co/TKkgkqZXc9". Stephanopoulos previously served as White House Communications Director and Senior Advisor for Policy and Strategy during the Clinton administration before becoming a prominent news anchor.

On October 14, 2025, Niemerg honored Charlie Kirk in a post that read: "Charlie Kirk should still be here. He was silenced for one reason — he spoke the truth. Today, on what would’ve been his 32nd birthday, I honored Charlie on the House floor — a fearless Illinoisan who stood for freedom and refused to back down. That’s why I’m calling for https://t.co/3xzvS2boGB".

Niemerg began his tenure in the Illinois State House in 2023 after succeeding Darren Bailey as representative of the 102nd District.
