Lawrence County Education: 54 Hispanic students enrolled in school districts in 2023-24 school year

There were 54 Hispanic students enrolled in Lawrence County school districts in the 2023-24 school year, 20% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Data showed that Hispanic students made up 2.8% of the 1,918 students in the county. They were the second least represented ethnicity.
