Illinois State Representative Chris Miller has issued a statement calling for the impeachment of Governor JB Pritzker. Miller criticized Pritzker’s recent comments, which he described as inciting protests and encouraging disruptive behavior.

"His reckless words, calling for nationwide protests, disruption, and even encouraging his radical followers to be 'street fighters,' are not just irresponsible — they are dangerous. Illinois families are already less safe under his failed policies, and now his rhetoric is pouring gasoline on the fire. Threats against half of our citizens and open hostility toward the legislature are not the actions of a governor who respects democracy — they are the tactics of a bully desperate to cling to power," Miller said in his statement.

Chris Miller was elected as a Republican to represent Illinois’ 101st House District in 2023, succeeding Reggie Phillips.
