Blaine Wilhour, an Illinois state representative, has recently published a series of critical posts on his Twitter account targeting Governor J.B. Pritzker and the state's Democratic leadership.

On July 24, 2025, Wilhour addressed his followers with a direct appeal: "Dear America, I trust you will reject this lying psychopath @GovPritzker. He lied about vetoing a gerrymandered map & he’s lying again. IL Democrats received about 55% of the vote in ‘24 & they have about 66% of the representatives in the GA. Spare me the crying about TX." In this post, Wilhour accused Governor Pritzker of dishonesty regarding redistricting and criticized what he described as disproportionate representation in Illinois' General Assembly.

The following day, on July 25, 2025, Wilhour celebrated what he characterized as a legal victory for property owners: "Big win for private property rights! This was legislative theft. @JBPritzker handed for-profit companies the power to steal private land using eminent domain. Total betrayal. @realDonaldTrump just torched that garbage. Massive win for property rights. Big loss for Pritzker and" Here, Wilhour alleged that recent legislative actions under Governor Pritzker's administration enabled private companies to use eminent domain against landowners—a move he called "legislative theft." He credited former President Donald Trump with overturning these policies.

On July 26, 2025, Wilhour continued his criticism by posting: "NEVER. EVER trust someone who will so blatantly lie and gaslight you like this. How arrogant, disgusting and disconnected do you have to be to lie about something that is so obvious. People like @JBPritzker have real issues and should never be anywhere near power. Reject him." The tweet repeated allegations of dishonesty against Governor Pritzker and urged voters not to support him.

These statements come amid ongoing debates over political redistricting in Illinois and the use of eminent domain by private entities—issues that have drawn scrutiny from both lawmakers and advocacy groups across party lines.
