HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital's Wound Healing Center has been awarded the Center of Distinction award by Healogics for the 15th consecutive year. This recognition highlights the center's exceptional clinical results and a patient satisfaction rate exceeding 92%.

Dr. Jeff Brummer, Medical Director of St. Anthony’s Wound Healing Center, emphasized the dedication required to maintain such high standards consistently. “It takes extraordinary expertise and commitment to achieve this high degree of care year after year. It is a testament to the exceptional care and dedication demonstrated by the physicians, providers, and staff associated with St. Anthony’s Wound Healing Center,” he stated.

Celebrating its 15th anniversary, the center has successfully treated at least 10,949 wounds over its years of operation. Ashley Dillingham, Director of the Wound Healing Center, noted the significance of their work beyond recognition: “We always appreciate being recognized for the work that we do, but what is more important is what it represents – all those we have helped heal from their wounds and the relationships we have built with them during their healing journey.”

The center is part of Healogics' network of over 600 wound care centers in America and offers specialized treatments for various chronic wounds including diabetic foot ulcers and pressure ulcers. Advanced therapies available at St. Anthony’s include negative pressure wound therapy, bio-engineered tissues, biosynthetic dressings, growth factor therapies, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

St. Anthony’s treats patients whose wounds haven't begun healing within four weeks or haven't fully healed in six weeks; referrals can be made by a provider or self-referred through an appointment at 217-347-3565.
